| Poster for Confirmation Programme 2017 |
Confirmations will take place at the Cathedral at 6.30 Mass on Sunday 11th June 2017, Feast of Trinity.
We have designed the programme to help young people to learn
more about the sacraments within the context of the Catholic Church, especially
the sacrament of confirmation. We provide a space for young people to explore
wider issues of faith including issues of social justice, Church Teaching and
our community. We use the Cathedral to
learn more about our faith and think about what it means to be a young Catholic
today. We encourage the young people to
ask questions and hope to provide them with the means to make an informed
decision about whether they would like to be confirmed.

St Peter’s Way is St Peter’s Cathedral and St Thomas More Parish confirmation programme. It is delivered by parish catechists who have DBS clearance, they give their time freely including time to prepare and deliver the sessions and spending time deepening their own faith.
If you are a member of the parish who feels they would like to get involved in the Confirmation programme then we would welcome new members of the team - there are many ways in which you can help and it can be a great way to learn more about the sacraments, Church Teaching for yourself.
