St Therese of Lisieux
Today we celebrate the Feast of St Therese of Lisieux also known as St Therese of the Little Flower Jesus.
Here the statue of St Therese holding her cross and roses.
She wrote ...
"My mission - to make God loved - will begin after my death," she said. "I will spend my heaven doing good on earth. I will let fall a shower of roses."
A few years ago the Cathedral hosted a highly impressive Flower festival to see images of the flower festival on the original Cathedral Blog.
In June this year there was another flower festival organised by the Aid to the Church in Need.
